1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers the Chhaya UAE marketing website only — the pages you're browsing now, which introduce our upcoming UAE launch. It does not cover any future Chhaya UAE product, app or customer account, which will have its own policy published at launch.

2. Information we collect

Today, this website collects only what you choose to give us:

• Your email address, if you sign up for updates on Chhaya's journey.
• Your name, email, phone number and message, if you submit our contact form.
• Basic technical information (such as browser type and device) automatically generated by visiting any website, and the website analytics described in section 4.

We do not collect payment details, identity documents, or health information through this site — those will only ever be requested once a live, regulated product exists.

3. How we use it

We use the information above only to:

• Send you updates about Chhaya's platform, partnerships and regional rollout, if you've asked for them.
• Respond to questions or messages you send us.
• Understand, in aggregate, how this website is used, so we can improve it.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use this website. It is the only third-party service that runs on these pages.

To do this, Google Analytics stores small files called cookies (named _ga and similar) in your browser. They let us recognise a repeat visit without knowing who you are. What it records is limited to:

• The pages you view and how long you spend on them.
• The site, search engine or link that brought you here.
• Your approximate location — city or country level, not an address.
• Your device type, browser and screen size.
• A randomly generated identifier for your browser. It is not your name or email, and it is not linked to anything you type into our forms.

Google processes this information on our behalf, as our service provider, and does not store your full IP address. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, we do not enable ad personalisation or cross-site tracking, and we do not combine analytics data with the details you send us through our sign-up or contact forms.

We read this data in aggregate — to see which parts of the site are useful and which are not — rather than to identify individual visitors. You can switch it off at any time; section 7 explains how.

5. Sharing information

We do not sell your information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate this website — such as email delivery, and Google for the website analytics described in section 4 — under obligations to keep it confidential and secure. These providers may process the information on servers outside the UAE. We do not share it with underwriting partners or third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Keeping it secure

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us, in line with the security standards used across the wider Chhaya platform.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete the information you've shared, or unsubscribe from updates, at any time by contacting us using the details below.

To opt out of the website analytics described in section 4, you can do any of the following:

• Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser settings. This website checks for both, and will not load analytics at all if either is switched on.
• Install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings.

None of these change how the rest of the website works.

8. Changes to this policy

As Chhaya UAE moves from a pre-launch website to a live, regulated platform, this policy will be replaced with a full privacy policy covering our products and services. We'll note the update date at the top of this page whenever that happens.
